Late Hague School

The Late Hague School as a movement continues in the tradition of chosing the same style and subjects as the Hague School, only these painters had in general a more colourful palette than their Hague School predecessors and they did not necessarily chose to paint around The Hague. Among these Late Hague School-painters, artists like J.E.H. Akkeringa, Th.E.A. de Bock, J.H. van Mastenbroek, G.A.L. Morgenstjerne Munthe and J.H. Wijsmuller are quite well known.
